What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

As is she...

She looks perfectly pathetic here and not knowing the context of this photo might lead you to believe she is truly unhappy. Her dramatic flair is a gift AND a curse, all in one. No-she is not mourning the loss of some beloved pet, she is not a sad little orphan girl, she had even just completed her MOST favorite, special lunch-a peanut butter and honey sandwich. She is distraught because, as she plays EVERY time these tubes are available to her (and I quote:) "I am the girl who is stuck in a straw-and I can't get out!" Yes-she says, I am the girl. And yes-she stayed put with that mournful stare until Andrew came and whacked at her with his hands, acting as knight on shining steed.
