What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Impromtu

Before heading to town to get the Papa some more drink mix and see about getting our car fixed, I popped the tripod out for a (very) quick and impromtu photo shoot. It was so hot, I only got a handful of shots before heading on our merry way to the air-conditioned store.

Though it may appear to the visitors of Renaissance that I am a single Mama of two...in fact, I AM happily married. I promise. And to a real live man too!!! He's not imaginary, as you may believe. I will prove it. Just give me time....

I will tie him down to get us a more recent family picture. And his anniversary present to me (FIVE years on the 25th!!!) is going to be a couples lovey-dovey photo shoot. As best I can do with a timer and tripod. It sure will be nice to have a few pictures of us together. Too bad I don't have any photographer friends nearby...

You and the kids look stunning! Don't EVER say you aren't photogenic AGAIN, DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME??? :)

That will be a lovely anniversary gift- if I was there, I would be more than obliging to take some shots for you, even though I hardly claim to be a true photographer!

Now that is a lovely picture of the three of you! I also love the one of you all walking away from the camera.
