What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Thanks for your comment on my blog! Picketing is certainly an interesting pasttime :). This morning a young couple drove past us and the girl in the passenger seat completely freaked out... covered her face and would not look at us. I have a feeling she may be planning to go in for an abortion. I've been praying for her.

My book is available as of today... you can read about it on my blog. I'm excited!

Rebecca,

You've been one busy mama this summer! Congrats on all the food you've put up! I've not done nearly as much this year as I wanted to.

Just a couple things.

1. Did you notice you have to scroll all the way to the bottom of your blog to see the sidebar?

2. The link in your sidebar for Betsy's blog doesn't work. You need to add the "www." at the front.

Have a wonderful evening! I'll be spending mine continuing to hoe out our bedroom! How can two people collect so much unnecessary stuff! You'd be amazed at what I've taken out of this house already, both to the dump and Salvation Army!

Rachel~congratulations! That is fabulous about your book. I have seriously been considering working on some books of my own.

It is an amazing work that you do, and I am sure makes a tremendous different, even if you don't directly see the affects. Keep up the good work!

Leah~
You have TOO! Maybe you haven't canned as much-but I know you have done LOTS in the way of organizing and home-keeping-which is more of a mountain to overcome than canning because canning is worked on and then DONE-home-keeping is a CONSTANT thing! And trust me: I understand all the junk one can accumulate-I took a fair amount of bags and boxes to the thrift store before we left myself!

I am not sure what you mean about #1. I AM having trouble with my sidebar but I can SEE the sidebar just fine-hmmmm....I will have to ask if anyone else is having that problem.

Thanks so much for letting me know these things-the whole time I thought it was all honkey-dorey! :-)
