What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Desperate Measures

When I realized the wax leaves process was more complex than I thought, I immediately started experimenting with other ways to make my dull candles a bit more unique. I thought this was kindof neat. To do this, you simply pound a silk leave into the sides of the candle in your own design with a small hammer. Pound gently in order to get the veins of the leave but take care not to make hammer marks. Posted by Picasa
