What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Happy thoughts

I have 18 boxes, two garbage bags and one Moses basket full of garage sale stuff that needs to be priced.

For this Friday and Saturday.

I haven't started pricing, making price sheets, figuring where I will find all the tables necessary and I've given up on the notion of baking bake-sale stuff (as I usually do) for the day.

I've only just begun the signs.

And yet: it is the last thing I want to work on (hence TWO posts yesterday.) Talk about procrastinating.

ugh.

must.

go.

work.

You're doing better than I am. I have Mount Yardsale in the basement, and have successfully avoided it for about 2 months. Its been there for about a year.
I keep saying "in 2 weeks" but right now I'm aiming for the middle of July. or about 2 weeks after that.

Oooh, here's hoping for you getting rid of lots of things this weekend! :) I am sure you will get everything ready in time.

Did you go to the Rome "all over town" yard sales the first week of June? I forgot to tell you about them. It is always the first week of June, and most places are in the center of Rome, but there are, of course, tons of signs to point you up other ways. :)

We live in the 'boondox' so we don't have garage sales here but we usually have an annual one with my dad & mom in town...they are ALOT of work...I prayed just now for good weather and a lot of eager & happy shoppers for you! :)

Good luck with the sale! I had a last minute one last year and it was really successful. Last minute can work!

I jsut discovered your blog via the link on 30 Days. The pillowcase skirt is amazing! I would love to link to it if you didn't mind.
