What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Big Girls

Yesterday I finished my 'last' skirt for the sewing seeds project. Of course, I *might* have to make ONE more just because. We'll see if I have time. I MUST mail them out by tomorrow. My friend Nancy from church even made one to add to my package! Wasn't that sweet? I like the funky fabric on this one...the very dark one is actually tie-dye with turquiose and purple. I got it in the $1.00 section at Walmart...and bought about 8 yards of it. I have a bit of it to use still! ;-)

Great Expectations:

Two announcements to make that may or may NOT be of interest to you.

1) Today is supposed to reach mid 60's. That means...we are putting off all unnecessary (and many necessary) tasks to head for a picnic, take TWO...this time at an actual park!! SO-a plethora of photos containing the smiles and giggles of three contentedly sunned creatures await.

2) VERY soon I will be holding a contest of my very own. I just need to figure out a 'prize'. More details to come. Just thought I would give you time to BRACE yourself for the impending stampede! HA! (Can you tell that was said with a great tone of sarcasm?!?)

I'm coming to your site via Heather.
You sure do get into the Easter decor. The home painted eggs are really nice. I love the nest and the birds and the bucket full of dog treats (great idea).

I'll be back and visit again sometime.

I love the skirt--a lady from The Prairie Homemaker made me one last year, and I absolutely love mine--I can't wait to wear it again after the baby is born:)

Your prize should be a skirt (hint hint)

Have a lovely day at your picnic, and I can't wait to see more pictures>

Oh what a cute skirt. I wish I knew how to sew. I am looking into classes for me and the girls to take. How fun Rebecca. Tell us how the picnic went.

And I will pray for you and your hearts desire for the little farm thing. We just got our two yrs ago. We moved several times in our marriage, and I prayed to the Lord for this home and my little farm. And now finally after 15 yrs of marriage and 7 moves here we are. I will contend for you, the Lord knows every little desire. Blessings dear one!

Very pretty. You're becoming a regular skirt-making machine.
