What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Duck walk

Corynn ambled up to these ducks...and I said 'Corynn-go slow. Tiptoe and be quiet so you don't scare them". So...she 'tiptoed'.

Except it looked more like a leprauchaun springing about in little jumps. These ducks were very gracious to the hip-hopping girl coming at them. They let her get pretty close before waddling away...

Rebecca, a tip for the next time you go to the park. If you are allowed to feed them, take lettuce to them, we have found with of all our ducks, lettuce is their favorite thing to eat, they just gobble it up.

Hmmmm....lettuce eh? We had brought bread bits but they didn't seem in the least bit interested. Oh well. Next time we WILL try lettuce-though I might feel silly doing it! ;-)

I know it sounds weird, but our ducks wouldn't really eat the bread either. One day I threw extra lettuce peices out here for the hens, but the ducks gobbled it up. And since then I feed them lettuce everyday.

Our Peacock loves lettuce too.
