What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Either/And/Or

Got back from the doctors office for the THIRD day in a row now. Today's appointment was SUPPOSED to shed some light on my situation. Instead, I was just given an either/and/or diagnoses and a slip for some more testing. At any rate-I am not dying. So-THAT is good thing. Reason to rejoice, I'd say!

After 'redding' up the children for the appointment, it seemed a waste to go straight home from the 10 minute doctor's office. Upon Corynn's suggestion, we took a walk. A nice one. A cemetary lays on the outskirts of the hospital, and so there we went. And it was fun. Lazily walking among the stones, talking of life and death, pondering the people represented by rock. Sober at times, breaking the silence with giggles at others. Gathering sticks for a fire. Tracing the letters of the gravestones. Admiring the beauty in the statues. Begrudgingly we headed to the car, thinking our fun was over...but then Mama had a bright idea. A picnic lunch in an old town square! A perfect way to get my 'little bit of outside' before I HAVE to be in.

You see, we are having company tonight and so there is food to prepare, a house to get ready, etc. etc. etc. It should be fun though. I was planning something elaborate but decided against it so I could be outside enjoying the sun for a while today. Instead, we will just have lasagna, salad, homemade Italian Herb bread, homemade strawberry applesauce and probably apple crip for dessert.

I forgot to mention: our huge dinner party from the weekend was put on hold since our friends' were having some ickies going through their house. With 10 children all down for the count-that is A LOT of ickies!!! :-) Needless to say, that leaves me with quite a few spare apples lying about!! We hope to have them actually come over this weekend or next. I am anxious for them to come-we so enjoy their company!

Well, I planned on posting the cemetary pictures along with our picnic pictures but I allotted myself an HOUR to get all the photos posted, and the hour has come and gone-with only 10 pictures added. My computer is REALLY slow and I think the Blogmonster is pretty lazy today as well. Must be the warm sunshine!

Well, I suppose that will give me something to post about tomorrow! ;-) Enjoy your day!!!

Thank you for the update. Even if it wasn't very definitive. -sigh-

Hope the next testing will be soon, and all this stuff can be put behind you.

The catscan revealed some thickening of a part of my intestine. The 'more' testing is to verify if I have what the doctors think I have, Chrone's Disease. He also think I have a viral infection. Anyway-I am feeling much better...only praying now that I DON'T have chrones because that is a chronic condition.

AKK! How awful. Keep us updated. I hope that it's simply an infection that will clear up soon!
