What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

The dreaded bookshelf, now welcoming!

Since the main problem with the books was that they were crammed in there SO tightly that Corynn couldn't replace the books easily (and thus they found new homes on the floor!) I cleared off another shelf so that they could span THREE shelves instead of just two. Of course, I was very selectful of the books I put back on the shelves. All others get to go to someone ELSE'S home on yardsale day!

I made sure there was plenty of room on one side of the row-for easy access and ease in PUTTING BACK! ;-)

First, great job with the cleaning and purging. Second, good luck on keeping the number of books down. If she's anything like my munchkin, she'll be adding to that collection as soon as yard-saling season starts ;)

It's not her to blame at all...I am just as obsessed and temptation always sets in ME during yard sale season! The great thing is-books always resell VERY well and if not, can be donated somewhere! As long as you purge every now and again!
