What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Up til now...

Not much time to update. The children and I got to my mom and dad's house-and a working computer, this afternoon. And so-an update!! I have LOTS more pictures than this but I did, after all, come to VISIT. :-)

Ironically, we travelled INTO snow and 14 inches covered us the day after Matt returned home. I was very thankful that the Lord held off the snow until Matt was safe and sound...I have no doubt it was specifically held off for Matt. ;-) It was such a HEAVY snow that the power went out-for an entire day. It was fun at first...lots of windows help you to go on as usual. We got lake water for the toilets, cooked on the woodstove, and read by daylight. I am confident that the Newman house is the best prepared for any disaster. We were warm and filled and (mostly) happy.

I hate driving in snow-especially on a rollercoaster driveway...and in our horrible little car with barenaked tires. So-we were snowbound in every sense of the word. What better time than to go for a refreshing walk and take a gazillion snow pictures. I HOPE they will be the VERY last of this season. I hope I don't make you all cold.

Lots of pictures to come-of discovering and science centers, fish and birthday parties. Until then-HAPPY DAYS to YOU, until we MEET AGAIN!

(I love you Mattie!)

Glad to hear agian from you...I was getting a bit worried!
Thankfully Elizabeth had already some pictures of the sciensecenter on her blog, so I knew you were OK.
I do hope winter will soon be gone over there. It's a bit slow here, not as spectacular, but my appletree is flowering!!!!
Enjoy your holiday!! And love to the family!!
