What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Abundance

Between this camping trip and this one, I had to have marathon canning/dehydrating days with the abundance of produce dripping on trees and rolling off tables.

At the time, all I could see with this bounty was OVERWHELM.

Now, as frozen rain plinks on our February roof, I can take the time to admire it all.  Boy, are garden things beautiful.

Particularly in February.

(Oh, how I wish for a back table that loaded these days!)

LOOK AT THOSE PEACHES!!!!

Best peach year EVER.

(These are dehydrated peach roll-ups.  I made LOADS of them.  And they are so, so delicious.)

"We are not made for the mountains, for sunrises, or for the other beautiful attractions in life— those are simply intended to be moments of inspiration. We are made for the valley and the ordinary things of life, and that is where we have to prove our stamina and strength."

~ Oswald Chambers
