What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

About Due

We have been about due for another picnick/pickwicking adventure. We picnic practically every day on the patio, but sometimes it IS nice to go with basket and blanket in hand, to the park.

Yesterday was one of those days. We wasted the entire day out there. The only housework that I did was hang clothes on the line and bring them down again, folded. How's THAT for an easy day?

Here are some pictures from our day. Our beautiful, sunny day! We have a few more coming, I hear, too!

How fun! And I love the pictures. :) And I am impressed that you caught the baby duck...the last time I tried to catch a duck (which was years ago), Edward & I were out in a boat on a lake feeding them, and I managed to reach out and grab one, and he went wild and threw up bread all over the boat! That's the last time I've tried to catch a duck!

THAT IS TOO FUNNY Catherine! You had me CRACKING up over that!

I probably wouldn't have tried if it meant bread puke!

Your photography and your children are just so beautiful! I also love that adorable little duck. It is so sweet that the kids got to hold it and play with it a little.

Also, your basket pillow is so pretty. I'm going to try to make those yo-yos with my girls this summer and that would be a great project for us.

Happy Memorial Day!

My kids love to picnic too.
Megan would have a picnic out on our deck everyday if she could.

Have a wonderful Memorial weekend!
