What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Evolution

Has anyone noticed it yet?

Just as the earth rotates around the sun, spinning-creating days and seasons, without fail.

So does my Mattie evolve each year. Each season. Without fail. And it has begun. Well. Actually, not begun necessarily. It's BEEN 'begun' for a few weeks now.

His sweet, soft, yummy and handsome summer face.

The start of the transition.

And the face that will be his for the winter months. Never does he lack handsomeness (is that a WORD!?!?), but now in a different sort of way.

Goodbye my sweet soft touchable face. For now.

Hello, masculine skin that tickles me and leaves kiss marks behind on my skin. I sortof missed you. Sort of.

My DH does the same thing. Especially when he doesn't have to work for a few weeks (like at Christmas) he will grow a beard and on the way back to Texas, he will be trying to decide whether or not to keep it.

My hubby can't even begin to grow a beard. Enjoy that soft stubble (once it grows a bit) while you can.

Of course you missed the beard! The feeling of a beard on the skin, is one of the most sexy feelings going! ,-)
