What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

A Sunday In September

Highlights:

- Fresh flowers in hair for church

- Cheeseburger Soup

- Andrew, driving like a pro

- Ineke belting out the psalms (she was amazing at singing this week- and kept up with reading the lyrics so well. I was impressed!)

- Helpful children who rally together to clean like lightening

- a clean van

- Moses, being all intelligent:  "Mama!  We are driving on Jones' road!"  Not having a clue what he was talking about, I asked him "What do you mean?!" to which he replied "Look at the sign!"  So I looked.  And it said JOHN rd.  Not quite, but boy, did he sound his letters out like a champ.

- apple bars... and before that apple peel snakes

- dahlias that WoW

- Judah showing off Maine pictures to Nanny

- porch-eating when it called for hail and thunderstorms

- Cantrells come to visit. (Mom and Dad say "hi" and they miss you.)

ME TOO.

Loving all the new posts! Nothing better than porch eating especially in late summer when you know that colder weather is ahead. Lynn Ewing
