What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

The C.O.O.L.E.S.T

On our way home, we had a layover in the Detroit airport-which is HUGE, by the way.

Our plane was a bit late coming in, and our layover was about 1 hour and 20 minutes and our other gate we needed to get to was seemingly lightyears away.

The airport was SO huge, there was a tram-INSIDE it! Wowza. My country heart nearly stopped at the thought of it!

Then-we HAD to ride it in order to get to our gate in time. So we did and nearly peed our pants in excitement.

Seriously.

But even with the tram ride, we STILL had acres to cover on foot and several of those acres were in the form of a funky lighted tunnel. We are about halfway through it in these pictures so I do NOT exaggerate at its' size. It was amazing, loud, funky and fun. I had to stop right in the midst of it to let Corynn dance, let Andrew gaze in astonishment, and allow myself to snap a few. Photos, I mean.

It was thrilling and exciting-and distracted us for so long that we nearly missed the flight. I have the sneaking suspicion though, that wouldn't have been bad news for the children. Corynn skipped and danced all the way to the end!
