What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Familiar Faces

When my mother found out that I was going to be taking a trip to Indiana to see HER best friend, she about went crazy with jealousy. That is, until my dad bought her a ticket to go too! ;-)

Our visits overlapped by a day and a half, so she got some 'one on one' time with Marlene but we still got to see her too.

It was really nice.

Not to mention: she only brought ONE little one with her, which made a bit of quality time with her grandkids a possibility.

The one she brought with her just happened to be a birthday boy. This is Lance, one year from the day he came into this world.

A year cuter, too.
