What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Saul

We also had a pet turtle for two days.

We passed him on the way home from church, making his way across the busy road.

We had just learned in church that morning about Saul and how slow he was to trust in God and so we dubbed him Saul.

He was our pet for two days before we took him to our creek and let him go. Every time we head down there now, we keep our eyes open for Saul. Maybe, to thank us for freeing him, he will pop out and say Hello.

If not, he was fun to have while we had him.
