What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

An ugly but BEAUTIFUL post.

Matt had last week off of work.  That means we didn't do any h'learning.

It was also election week and all the stress that THAT entails.

Apparently, those two factors alone can meld me into some sort of superwoman powerhouse.

Check out this to-do list (which has some pretty overwhelmingly large tasks on it) which is almost entirely scratched out after just a week:

That is pretty impressive, ifIdosaysomyself.

And then, take a moment to gaze with me at these dusty floorboards which haven't been visible for many moons, so buried were they in junk.

I am usually pretty good about taking 'before' pictures but... this particular day I just decided to throw an unholy tantrum instead and start throwing things out the door.

A few days later, I emerged victorious.  And dusty.

WOW! Striking while the iron is hot is the best way to get things done. Good job!

Thanks, Rozy! I felt I needed SOMEONE to admire that feat too. Thanks for being the gal to do it.
