Rebecca, I LOVE your new house! It may take some getting used to because you really had a different idea on what type of home you wanted to live in, but I truly think you will work your magic and make it a BEAUTIFUL home! :)
Well, though I always wanted a Victorian MATT always wanted either a house of stone or brick. And truly, I am NOT complaining about the house. I DO REALLY like it.
Hi Rebecca, The house is great and I just can't wait to visit you all there and see all of the inside! The windows are great as is the yard--What Fun!!!
No, not a Victorian, but a LOVELY house! It is big and beautiful! (And don't forget, after all, that brick is what kept the third little pig safe from all the huffin' and puffin'.)
I think brick houses are so stately and lovely, and (have to agree with Abby) strong. Did you notice that there are a lot of brick houses on your drive down there? It is the same way in York, PA... I wonder why that is?
In the heat and distress of leaving family, we are often reminded of the 'bad things' and not allowed to focus on the great. Thank you all for your enthusiasm-it has helped me to gain proper perspective and to be enthusiastic toward the move. It IS a nice home! More than we could have ever asked the Lord to provide for us. He is most gracious to his undeserving people. :-)

Your house is beautiful! I love the windows, and the porch and overhang especially. It must look really nice with a wintery backdrop.
