I spotted this great winged beast yesterday and could only get this photo of it. Once again-very good reason to want the fancy shmancy type camera! Anyway...is it a red tailed hawk or something more glamorous? I spent quite a bit of time in my birding book and came up with a few possibilities. Of course, my glimpse was as good as yours. To my own detriment, I tried getting better pictures and thus, missed the birds take off-a time of great importance when determining bird species. Argh!
