What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

When my Grandma was dying she kept reciting to me from Psalm 30 (I think that is the reference...)..."For sorrow like a pilgrim may tarry through the night...but then a Shout of joy comes when dawns the morning light.." this was, and continues to be a comfort to me whenever I think of those I love who pass on into Glory. I am so sorry you lost someone so loved!

How wonderful that your children have pictures of themselves with their Great Grandmother. That in itself is something very precious these days.

What a precious and sweet photo. I am so sorry for your loss. My Grandma never got to see my children, or me getting married. You were so blessed to have her there to see your sweet little ones. I'll keep you all in my prayers...Praying for God to comfort your family...

This is such a wonderful portrait, and it shows her character which will be remembered.

I'm sorry for your earthly loss and rejoice that your Grandmother is with her Lord and Savior in heaven. She lived a long life and saw a lot transpire in her lifetime and now she gets to rest and rejoice. How cool is that?!

Gram seemed like such a beautiful spirit, and I pray God gives you comfort as you pass through this time of sharp grief. May the Beatitudes take shape in you all right now; may you truly be blessed and comforted as you mourn, and may the hope of Him who conquered death rise up and fill the hollow places.

Much love.
