What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

The Mother of all Christmas Trees

I include this photo from the cookie exchange only to let you catch a glimpse of the MOTHER of all Christmas trees. It stood over 18 feet tall and touched the ceiling of our hostess' home. You can see it in the doorway-and how it hasn't even THOUGHT about tapering off yet. This family includes 8 children, so I guess they get it big enough so that each child can have a small portion to decorate. Wow. I couldn't believe it when I saw it and can't believe it still! Wow, you can tell that tree is massive, even though only a fraction of it is showing- no wonder you said it was the mother of all trees! Your cookies looked yummy :)

Words cannot describe! Even I, covetor of MANY trees, would not get a tree THAT huge! But it was fun to see outside of a shopping mall! :-)
