What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

I have been busy this morning with preparations, gearing up for our party. Matt is bringing work HOME today and we will have about a dozen or so of his fellow employees coming to celebrate the 4th with us. Including some of the Mexican workers.

Our menu is probably identitical to the thousands of OTHER Americans celebrating this day, feasting on typical picnic fare.

Here is a run-down.

Hamburgers and Hotdogs
Hot Sausages in sauce
Corn on the cob
Italian Pasta Salad
Coleslaw
Cheese Tortellini skewers
Chips
Bacon Topped Baked Beans
Watermelon

White chocolate dipped pretzel rods (with blue and white sprinkles, nat.)
Red, white and blue cupcakes
Triple layer bundt cake

Strawberry Punch with garnished ice cubes (strawberries and mint)
Lemonade
Tea
Soda
Adult Beverages :-)
Needless to say, I have been a busy beaver. Pictures of our day will come tomorrow.
