What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Whatever floats your boat

Personally, as a child, I never understood why other children would ride on the benches of the carousel. I mean, what FUN is it to just sit still. It was crying shame to miss the up and down bit too.

Actually, I *still* feel that way. Which is why, I always hop on a horse WITH my babies. (I ALSO don't understand how parents can just stand NEXT to the horse with their arms around there children. Just don't seem to have ANY fun, I tell ya.)

Apparently, I am outnumbered. Because all the little children happily clamoured aboard the no-fun, stationary, boring old bench.

I guess I shouldn't be too curious. They did ride the horses five or six times too.

That's what happens when a carousel offers rides for free.

The curious thing, then, would be...WHY do they offer carousel rides for free but charge $2.00 for a lollipop????
